Are you going to watch Will Smith movies & TV shows ever again?
Was this enough to avoid his films and TV appearances?

The slap has no real impact on if I'd watch a Will Smith movie. I honestly don't care for him, nor do I actively dislike him. I just can't remember the last thing I watched with him in it. Maybe After Earth? I liked the first Men in Black, Hancock, and Independence Day, but that was really it.
sharePeak Will Smith was between 1995 and 2007. He has faded since then. Only film of his I paid to see in the past ten years was Bad Boys for Life and it was only okay.
shareI saw Bad Boys for Life (2020) myself since I'm a fan of the franchise. Prior to that, Suicide Squad (2016), but that was more of an ensemble. I didn't watch it just for him alone.
If there's a fourth Bad Boys installment (which has been currently put on hold), I'll see it in theaters.
I have Men in Black, Enemy of the State & Concussion in my collection and just watched MIB again today.
shareNo. I'm not some sissy that clutches his pearls.
shareNope, but then again I never liked his stuff ... I just cannot take that smug face with the nubby ears.
I did like "Enemy of the State" but it's old and out of data, so won't be watching that again.
BB4 on hold now. But I think that movie will only be done if they can get Bay to direct it.
shareIt hasn't put me off his films, just as Kevin Spacey's antics haven't put me off his. However Will Smith hasn't exactly made many great films so what would put me off them is their quality. I'm hard pushed to find many I'd give a 7/10 score to, never mind anything more than that.
shareYep I'll never get rid of LA Confidential or Casino Jack...
shareat the rate their stalling his projects, you may not have the option to see any new stuff for a while.
