The mystery is: was LAPD called, or were they just there because they were very eager to arrest someone famous?

Still, were they informed? Or did they take their own imitative, or DA's orders, and offer to arrest Smith without being asked? The academy would have been taking very different views toward the incident in those 2 scenarios.

They can be prepared all they want, if Rock doesn't want to be a victim, theyre not arresting anyone.
