The most successful TV show since Seinfeld, and nothing touching it since. Hardly "reduced". I found Sheen's real life antics highly amusing until the AIDS thing came out. Now it's just sad to think he may have exposed people, knowing he was sick. But no one knows the real story, and none of his partners have turned up infected. So maybe he did take some precautions.
As far as Tom Cruise goes, I find him and his religion scary and subversive. More scary and subversive than any real religion. At least Muslim fanatics and Catholic pedophiles are condemned by the press, congregations and general public. I can't look at Tom Cruise without being distracted.

Are you judging success based on how much money they make?? I am basing it on the quality of their work and projects. Regardless of his religious stuff, Cruise has been making quality movies for 35 years. He is one of the most successful movie stars in history. Sheen has not had a decent movie since Hot Shots in 91. Even two and a half men went off in 2011. In the last five years Sheen did another bad show and is now shopping reality shows.

Really? You consider making a 100th Mission Impossible sequel as "quality movies"? Because put that aside (and I don't even put it in this category) I don't see what "quality movie" he made since Minority Report in 2002. Maybe Valkyrie wasn't so bad.
This been said, he is definitely better than Sheen in my eyes, but the bar is really low.
Tom Cruise can still make money but you're right, he hasn't made a really good movie since Minority Report. In my book one of the few stars who could bring in the dollars AND make high quality movies was Jack Nicholson.
Of course, Jack's very last movie was a clunker lol.
That's not true. Cruise has made some very good movies since Minority Report, including (1) Last Samurai; (2) Collateral; (3) Valkyrie; (4) Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol; and (5) Edge of Tomorrow. Granted that the quality of his movies has been slipping lately, but still to compare him with Sheen is just silly.
