Can’t remember. But she was nominated for an Oscar, I think. If I recall right, her character was a lesbo with Angelina Jolie

That was Winona Ryder, not Natalie Portman. I just checked her Filmography.

She wasn't in Girl Interrupted at all. Her first real "break" into the industry was definitely Luc Besson's Leon: The Professional in 1994, but she really only had small supporting roles until her first "big" break which was Star Wars in 1999.
