She should consider herself lucky. Her looks (over-rated in my book) created her career.
Not a good actress at all (though I loudly applaud her performance in 2009’s My Sister’s Keeper) and a crappy interviewee on the talk shows.
Back to My Sister’s Keeper. It really was a great performance. Her character is one that viewers learn to dislike, but that is also a sign of how well Miss Diaz did. I would not be surprised if it is among her favorite of her roles.
You're correct, but then again, a lot of popular actresses of the early 90s weren't what I'd consider hot. That was pretty standard - they often chose actresses they believed were good in the role. Look at the movie, The Vanishing (1993), for example. The main actresses in that were Nancy Travis and Sandra Bullock. Both of them, imo, are pretty regular looking. A lot of popular actresses were kinda just okay looking at the time, like Nicole Kidman, Julia Roberts and Alicia Silverstone.

LMAO...SO SILLY.

NOTHING...I LOVE YOU LIST OF BELOW AVERAGE TALENT,ABOVE AVERAGE PORNO LOOK "ACTRESSES".

I DONT KNOW WHO HORSEGIRL IS,BUT I LIKE ACTRESSES BASED ON THEIR ABILITY OVER THEIR LOOKS..I DONT NEED A LIST OF BIG BOOBED,HALF TALENT WOMEN TO IMPRESS THE INTERNET.

NO...CAMERON DIAZ IS AN ASTOR WHO WORKED IN MOVIES...NOT A PIN UP OR MISS UNIVERSE CONTESTANT...ACTING IS ABOUT TALENT...IF YOU CAN MIX SOME GOODLOOK WITH THE TALENT..YOU MAYBE HAVE A STAR...YOU TAKE EVERYTHING AND TURN IT INTO A SEXY CONTEST...I MIGHT BE A FOOL,BUT YOU SOUND LIKE A HORNY 12 YEAR OLD.

You, and so many others are so picky when it comes to women! You and the TC would be lucky to get with women who are as pretty as Cameron Diaz, Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman, and Alicia Silverstone were in the 90s. What a stupid post!
shareThe point of the post, stupid though it may be, is to discuss conventional beauty, not which actresses I would be lucky enough to date (the answer is none). By conventional beauty standards, the most popular actresses of the 90s weren't usually chosen based solely on their looks, but on their talent, their potential or nepotism.
I don't think that's an insult; I wish this were the case more often today. I'm a fan of all the actresses I listed, excepting Roberts. And that's not to say they were ugly at all. But they weren't the most beautiful of the time. For example, I think some of the prettier actresses of the 90s include Angela Bassett, Courteney Cox, Patricia Arquette and Tia Carrere. Are any of the women I listed above more conventionally beautiful than these? I don't think so. But that's just based on my perception of beauty.
Okay. I took your comment wrong. I think I was more mad at the TC saying Cameron Diaz was not hot and saying she was just an average blond who had a good make up artist.
shareThat's fine. Cameron Diaz was quite a looker, but there were a lot of beautiful actresses around in the early to mid 90s and she wasn't exceptional in comparison, is all I'm saying.
shareJulia Roberts without a doubt... but Nicole Kidman and Alicia Silverstone just "okay looking" ? Man, your standards are above high. I thought these women were nothing less than beautiful.
shareYou are correct Nicole Kidman and Alicia Silverstone just "okay looking" is just crazy talk, especially during the time period being discussed
shareI beg to differ on Nancy Travis, she was and is gorgeous
shareI thought she never looked better than when she was in The Mask.
She was absolutely stunning!

Really? Cause I just watched There's something about Mary and she was really attractive in that!
shareYeah, she can be hot in more than one movie. Haha.
Every time I watch The Mask, her beauty distracts me from the actual movie. I will always stand by my opinion that she has never looked better than The Mask.
I second your opinion about her in The Mask. She was gorgeous.

You're a blind donkey. It's unanimously agreed that Diaz is drop dead gorgeous in The Mask.
Your taste in women is awful. Amber Smith looks like she could be a drag queen, very manly features. And Kat Dennings is just painfully average compared to 90's Cameron Diaz.
"Amber Smith looks like she could be a drag queen"
The most accurate statement I've seen/heard all week!
"And Kat Dennings is just painfully average compared to 90's Cameron Diaz."
Kat Dennings is painfully average PERIOD.

I agree, The Mask was on tv here yesterday and what kept me watching was Cammy D! She looked the best ive ever seen her in this film and is breathtakingly stunning!
shareI thought she never looked better than when she was in The Mask.
Saying Cameron Diaz wasn't attractive is blasphemy of the highest order. You must be some kind of a jelaous ex friend from high school with a grudge against Cameron.
shareThe Mask was the first and only movie I saw her in where I found her to be particularly attractive as she actually seemed to have decent curves. For the rest of her career however she turned into just another average, skinny, flat as a board everywhere blonde with a big head.

I agree
