I probably chose Aliens because of nostalgia..I had been in the Air Force for 2 years when I finally got shipped overseas to a small base in Turkey. The summer movies were just starting, like Top Gun, Stand By Me, and Aliens. I bought the Aliens book and saw the movie at the base theater. My Favorite Band was Van Halen they even had a song they kind of devoted to Aliens..It was just a great summer in 1986 that could have easily been ruined by working those 12 hour shifts off the flight-line. The next year I was stationed in Oklahoma City and boy did I miss Turkey!

I'm stopping at 3001!
