Best acting performance?


Just watched The Verdict (1982). I will have to go with this.

So many great roles. Hard to choose. Early Newman--Hombre (1967), Middle Newman--The Verdict, Late Newman--Road to Perdition (2002).

1967 is hardly "early Newman". By then, he'd been in movies thirteen years, and television drama several years longer.

I just watched The Verdict last night myself. Newman was great in the role.

Just a ace of a script.

Not many actors could pull off that role.

He was assisted greatly by the fine performance of Kennedy.
