I thought she was taller. According to a celebrity blogger, Marlon Brandon sent her $1,000 to help her out years later, but you know what they say about pride. She kept the check as a souvenir. That was dumb IMO. I would have used it, and paid him back little by little as gratitude.

It's a good job Alan Ladd who she starred alongside in many movies wasn’t tall, he was only 5'6".
