I like to wear things until they wear out. I wore at T2 t-shirt for 20+ years until it basically dissolved into nothingness.
Sadly shoes seem to wear out the fastest.
The best line I remember was from Benny Hill when someone questioned his frugality and he said something like how many shoes or pants can I wear at once?
Too many. About every two years I go through my closet and fill up garbage bags with clothes and take them to local clothing closets. I do have some items I've kept for nearly 30 years but I also like to change things out as styles change.

I have a lot of things that I donβt wear anymore including worn out shoes. Like this stuff is going to magically heal itself sitting in a dark closet!
I seem to wear the same couple of pairs of pants for work and the same sweatpants around the house. I do have a bunch of sweaters. I am into layering. I like to wear short sleeved tops and a sweater. That way I can take off the sweater if I get too hot.
I have lots of dresses that I hardly wear. My few pairs of shorts are so old and worn out that I refuse to wear them in public.
Not as many as Andy's wife. (However much that is)
