Are YOU now or have you ever been a fan of Mickey Mouse (and co)?

The character, that is.

Personally, no.

This isn't gonna be a rant post. I do not dislike Disney (the company) as a whole, nor do I love them.

I've just never found the character appealing. Even as a kid. Never found him funny. Just annoying.

And as for his "friends", I liked Donald Duck when I was a kid. The Goofy movie was entertaining. As least to kid me. Haven't seen it since.

Same for me, I used to like Donald Duck, but Mickey Mouse I was never a fan of.
They used to publish paperbacks once a month or so, alternating between Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse where I bought only the Donald Duck ones.

As a kid, Mickey Mouse seemed a bit old fashioned - I was more a Looney Tunes / Hanna-Barbera guy.

Mickey was average.

My favourite as a kid was Donald Duck.

I grew up watching The Mickey Mouse Club on TV in the 50's, but I can't say I was a huge fan of Mickey himself. I liked Road Runner much better.

One can vaguely recall a program - I believe it was called "The MIckey Mouse CLub".

It was in black and white - I remember Annette and Jimmy.

I was kind of a fan of it.

But MIckey Mouse, even the other Disney characters - nah - didn't really care for any of them.

Much more into Looney Tunes.

Used to watch the Mickey Mouse Club as a kid. Annette was a first crush.

Hahah, yeah, I think the program was from the 50s, but I watched it as a little boy in the 70s (if one recalls correctly).

Yeah, Annette was the one I remembered, hahahaha

ANd Jimmy, I think he was like the leader of it.

Yeah, but even now, she was a cute little girl.
