Name someone you admire that may surprise others....

Try to think of someone you think very highly of - the key being, most people wouldn't know. In fact, the people that do know you well may be surprised to learn you are a fan of the person.

Could be a secret crush....

Someone you always looked up to but never told anyone.....

Or, as simple as someone you think highly of, but no one knows....

First on my list would be Fred Rogers. That's right, he of Mr. Rogers fame. Huge fan of his. A guy that did what he really believed in. Someone that sincerely cared about the product he was putting out to his audience. One of the few in which it wasn't all about the money (he had several much more lucrative network offers he passed on). I think he is an outstanding human being.

So, there you go.....

I think most everyone thinks that Fred Rogers was a wonderful human being so that's not very surprising to me, but it is a very good choice.

I can't think of anyone I've ever admired who would be a surprise but since you included secret crushes, I'm sure my parents' eyeballs would have popped out if they had known of my temporary crush on Tim Curry as Dr. Frank-n-Furter in my young 20s. 😂

Thanks. Mr. Rogers had a huge affect on childhood. Then what happens is, when you become a teen, everyone makes fun of him. Once you become an adult you realize what a special person he was.

Yeah "Rocky Horror Picture Show" - midnight showings along with "The SOng Remains the Same"

Good stuff - cool secret crush. Yeah , I doubt your parents would have been enthused, LOL.

Frank Zappa

Not really crazy about his music, however....

He IS an outstanding guitar player

Total innovator, unwilling to compromise. Had his own vision and stuck to it.

The guy is brilliant. Incredibly bright man.

Came out of the sex, drugs and rocknroll era - yet neither drank nor did drugs.

Original thinker, politically and musically.

100% non-phony. He did exactly what he believed in, said exactly what was on his mind.
