He was mildly humorous. But he doesn't stand out as a comedy great, rather forgettable.

Hard saying if he was that difficult to work with, however, his humor apparently doesn't blend well with today's youth and he rubs people wrong out of trying to be funny but it backfires. I think that's why he left COMMUNITY. Honestly, I couldn't believe they hired him to begin with given what that show centered around which were actors 1/2 his age
