Burger King (a.k.a. Hungry Jack's in some countries)

Do you have a Burger King (or Hungry Jack's) in your country?

If so, favorite item to get there?

There's many Burger King restaurants in my country - it's the place where BK originated. They are on the decline in terms of numbers, though.

My favorite item used to be the Chicken Tenders, but they removed the older version from their menus. My favorite item now is the Chicken Fries.

Burger King. I remember seeing the headquarters across the road from the Dadeland Mall in Miami, FL when I was younger. I think Hungry Jack was a instant mashed potatoes brand here in the US.

I heard in Australia, Burger King is called "Hungry Jack's" due to a copyright conflict.

Yes, and their original chicken sandwich (the long one on the sub bun) has always been my favorite thing on their menu.

If anyone has seen the show Beef, the two main characters found that loving that sandwich was one thing they had in common.

As an aside, if you have not watched Beef you should!

UK - Burger King, yes.

I’m not really a fast food fan.

I don't really like Burger King. I noticed the one near me keeps all the burgers wrapped and sitting, while say Carl's Junior always fries them fresh. Last time I went to BK my cheeseburger was cold! I stopped going to BK after that.

There's a Burger King in the next big city, about 40 miles away from my town, I pass by there frequently because it's next to the highway exit when I drive somewhere on vacation or so and I used to stop there frequently to get a Double Whopper.
Not really sure why, but even though it's much further away than the McDonalds here in town, I've preferred Burger King.

However, the last time I've been to any fast food restaurant was about 15 years ago.
I've stopped that when I noticed that regular restaurants in town not only have far better quality of food, they aren't expensive in comparison, some are even cheaper than fast food, i.e. the pizza places here in Italy.

Well, it's going back a ways.....

Probably 6-7 years now.

Whopper with Cheese, tomatoes, onions, mayo and lettuce.

It may have been part of a meal - in which case one would have ordered the full meal a la The Big Mac meal at McDonald's.

I should add, since COVID - no fast food at all. Other than SUBWAY - if you consider SUBWAY fast food. I like SUBWAY because one is fussy. I can see exactly what's in the sub while watching the person preparing it.
