When I was growing up in the 70s I remember on Thanksgiving Day that the networks would have special shows based on their Saturday morning lineup. One I specifically remember was with Jim Nabors and Ruth Buzzi from the Lost Saucer. Anybody else remember these?

shareFor me, the most wonderful memory of Thanksgiving Day programming, believe it or not, was the evening BEFORE Thanksgiving Day. For a number of years, the David Copperfield magic specials would air that evening.
shareI don't recall this, but I do remember one or two of the networks running their Saturday morning programming line-up on the day after Thanksgiving. It made sense since kids were home that day. It was like getting two Saturday mornings in a row.
