Same except I would put Vegas above 2015

Vacation
Christmas Vacation
Vegas Vacation
European Vacation

The one that came out a few years ago is ass.

reply

💯 this

reply

I didn't like the 2015 version or Vegas at all. I'm not huge on European either, but it has its moments.

reply

Vacation
European Vacation
Christmas Vacation
Vegas Vacation
Vacation 2015

reply

That's the order I'd rank them also. I'm not as crazy about "Christmas Vacation" as some (although I like it).

reply

I especially like it for Julia Louis-Dreyfus. She’s a knockout imo and I wish she had worked more. She’s a beauty with great comic chops.

reply

Finally some European Vacation love. I think it's decent but many hate it.

reply

Oh yeah, I like that one a lot. Dana Hill (may she rest in peace) was my favorite Audrey Griswold by far. When she orders that huge sausage at the German restaurant, ‘God I miss Jack’ 😄

reply

Christmas Vacation -Great
Vacation -Great
European -OK
Vegas -Mostly OK
Vacation 2015 -Bad

Wow I never knew there was Christmas Vacation 2 with cousin Eddy, I'm sure it's terrible, but will have to check it out!

reply

Christmas Vacation 2 takes place in the tropics. No thanks.

reply

You nailed it. Same here 👍

Vegas Vacation was about as funny as cancer, and I didn’t even know Christmas Vacation 2 existed.

reply

CHRISTMAS VACATION 2 IS ONE OF THE WORST AND CHEAPEST THINSG THEY EVER RELEASED....REDLETTERMEDIA COVERED IT AND THEIR REACTION IS ONE OF THE WORST IN THEIR HISTORY....IT'S BAD BAD.

reply

Looks like my ignorance about it wasn’t a bad thing. Thanks for the tip buddy, I’ll avoid it!

reply

I think my bottom two picks are actual the only really bad ones. "European" is watchable.

reply

Agreed, although I think 2015 was a lot funnier than word of mouth suggested. Christina Applegate and Chris Hemsworth were the MVPs for me, ironically the scenes with Chevy and Beverly were the low points.

reply

Hemsworth was great. And that bod (not in a gay way. Okay, kind of in a gay way.)

reply

Saucy.

I think the dude has quite a flair for comedy, he was also the funniest thing about the brutally unfunny Ghostbusters reboot. Or Ghostsisters, as I like to call it.

reply

Never saw the movies, but I loved the original story when it came out in the magazine...

reply

I had no idea they took it from the magazine. The sequels too?

reply

I don't think so...

reply

I would say the first film is the only essential film in the series Sam, although Christmas is extremely funny too. I’d be interested to hear what you think of the first film if you ever do check it out. I saw it again recently and still found it hilarious, which I think is impressive for such an old comedy.
