I voted this morning

1. Frasier is the top show of the 90's.

reply

I negated your vote and voted for Sliders.

reply

Sliders was based as fuck. It did go off the rails once Jerry O'Connell left though.

reply

Sliders rocked!

reply

So Seinfeld isn't a show anymore?

reply

No. Now vote for Sliders and I'll say something nice about one of your puns one day.

reply

No. It's not worth it.

(I'm only talking about the first three seasons)

reply

Seinfeld all seasons.

reply

How about a tie?

reply

No thanks, I already have one.

reply

You're getting it for Christmas whether you have one or not.

reply

I never liked sienfeld. My brother forced me to watch is so I didn't develop an appreciation for it.

reply

Star Trek TNG.

reply

Could be argued that it's 80s because it started in '87.

reply

Ah shit I missed the part about this being a 90s show thread.

reply

Voyager?

To be honest it’s the only 90s show I still watch to this day.

reply

I'm currently watching it. Never seen the entire series before.

reply

Ah cool, you enjoying it?

I love that it’s on Netflix so I can just watch a random episode when I can’t settle on anything else. Reliable entertainment. And since there were so many eps per season I never get bored.

reply

I've seen all of TOS, TNG, DS9 and it's probably the worst one, but I am still enjoying it. I love Janeway but the cast is weaker compared to the other shows. I'm only on season 2 so I'm still early.

reply

Ah ok, I feel it really kicks into gear when 7 of 9 joins at the end of S3.

I loved "Frasier." Such a great show... but it seemed like (in retrospect) that the writers didn't know what to do after they got Niles and Daphne together. There were still some great episodes from Season 8 on, but not as many from Seasons 1-7, IMO.

I think "Seinfeld" would probably win a poll and I loved it also. However, I'd probably vote for "Law & Order." When that came out in the Fall of 1990, I was a College Senior and I watched it from the beginning (There just wasn't a show quite like it when it first came out...I really loved it from the beginning). I remember the ratings were really low the first couple of seasons and I was afraid that the show was going to get canceled. It ended up airing for 20 years! 😃 Like a lot of L & O fans, Lennie Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) was my favorite. But the whole cast was great...I just can't watch the "post-Orbach episodes," though.
