My 10 year old daughter really enjoyed it 8/10 (Me 8/10).

My wife and I saw it in Japan, in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo. I went to the ticket office and said, ‘I Am Legend’ and straight away my wife said, ‘Yes, I Am Legend too.’

She always feels sorry for the doggie.

I think she definitely leans more towards sci-fi and she seems to find horror a bit silly. My wife wants to go down the zombie route, so I think 28 Days Later might be next.

This script started out based on a 1954 American short story by Richard Matheson. It inspired at least three other movies. The Last Man On Earth starring Vincent Price, The Omega Man with Charlton Heston and a corny version fronted by that goofy Iron Chef guy called I Am Omega.

The title I Am Legend refers to the idea that the Last Man is NOW the monster that hunts and murders the race of vampire/zombie/ monsters that have taken over.

The last human is now the boogie man legend.
Pretty cool concept.

I read the book, watched the Price movie, the Heston movie and the Smith movie.

I believe I am more than qualified to describe the movie as a big solid floater.
