Disaster movie recommendations

I've always liked disaster movies. Volcanoes, earthquakes, tornadoes, meteorites, movies depicting disasters in outer space, etc, I like them all.

Although I prefer ones that attempt to be realistic and well made, I really would be willing to watch any disaster movie even those bordering on campy and ridiculous. For example, I would prefer something like Twister to Sharknado but will accept any recommendations.

What disaster movie would you recommend?

DEEP IMPACT: A very sobering, somber movie with a very realistic outcome in what that would look like if a comet hit earth

ARMEGEDDON: If you have DEEP IMPACT on the list, you have to have ARMEGEDDON, even if it's cheesy and not realistic at all, it's an FX Extravaganza. As for not being realistic?? It's because once they landed on the asteroid, their ship would've been destroyed in seconds with the debris the size of a house flying around hitting it most likely

Adrift (2018)
Greenland (2020)

Adrift sounds good , I thought i'd seen all the sailing disaster movies.

The one with the 3 guys in upside down boat off NZ was good (or was it Oz)

"The Cassandra Crossing" ( 70's)

Virus outbreak on a train traveling across Europe and the attempts to contain it

Mr. fourlemons loves trains so I have the feeling we'll be watching this.

A couple gems imo not yet mentioned that will likely be more tangentially related to disasters but should scratch that itch:

The China Syndrome (1979) - Jack Lemmon is a hallmark of quality
Touching the Void (2003) - a mountaineering documentary with reenactments, but it's a harrowing nail-biter
Take Shelter (2011) - Michael Shannon *and* Shea Whigham. Nuff said.

The classic ones from the '70s are the best: Airport series, Earthquake, Towering Inferno, Poseidon Adventure etc.

Thanks to everyone for all of the recommendations! My husband complains I don't watch movies often enough so he was pleased when I told him this morning that we have quite a few to watch now.
