ROLLERBALL (2002)
STEAL BIG STEAL LITTLE (1995)
SPEED 2: CRUISE CONTROL (1997)
DARKNESS (2002)
HALLOWEN: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS (1995)
I really enjoyed Dune 2, I thought it developed the culture of the Fremen people and their belief in Paul Atreides as a messianic figure. I found it interesting and very enjoyable.
Yep, The Transformers movies were all horseshit. Too much CGI and so darkly lit that I couldn’t follow the action at alll.
Godzilla(1998)
Baywatch(2017)
Star Wars Episodes 7-9
Well, sorry, I've got some disappointments, however, I didn't see them in a theater. I'll list them anyway for fun.....
1. "Tar" - quite a build up on this one. It would sweep the Oscars! Turned out it was just ok.
2. "Joker" - When it passed a billion, I made it a point to watch it. Afterwards it was..."Is that it? Whats the big deal?"
3. "Carrie" - I love Julianne Moore. I thought Chloe Grace Moretz had something (it was 2012 when the film was announced). I liked the director (Kimberly Pierce). One thought it would be terrific. Ended up fair at best.
4. "The Batman" - Some good people involved (Paul Dano, Colin Farrel). Especially Dano because one had recently seen him in something outstanding "Escape from Dannemora". Big fan of Peter Skaarsgard. Anyway, I disliked it and was so bored by it, it took 5 separate viewings to finally finish it.
5. "The Godfather part 3" - The reasons are obvious. Not that it was so bad, it's just it was nowhere near the first 2. This one I actually did see in a theater.
In 1999 the phanthom menace. Nowadays, however, I appreciate the movie m at least a little bit.
shareAlien: Romulus (2024)
The Cat in the Hat (2003)
Date Movie (2006)
Deadpool (2016)
Godzilla (2014)
All the super hero movies have been pretty disappointing since the ones from the early/mid 2000s decade
What is with this mediocre style of directing that caught on? The CGI is a huge eye-sore. The acting is bad often and needed subsequent takes but never received any. Everything on the screen looks cluttered, clashes, and is overall done bad like they don't care
Have you seen Watchmen (2009) ? Very awesome story, but with very dated music.
shareSW Episode 2 was the best it could be. It wasn't very eventful except laying the foundation for Episode 3. That's the main reason George Lucas started the movie franchise on Episode 4 because 4-6 are more exciting than 1-3. No way SW would be as big as it is if it was in order.
