Did Perfection ruin you?

The game "Perfection" involved a tray with 25 different shaped cutouts that you pushed down into the body of the game, turned on the timer and then tried to fill in with corresponding shaped game pieces before the timer ran out. If you could not, the tray popped up abruptly sending the game pieces flying into the air and sometimes bonking you in the face.

1. Did you ever play this game?

2. If you ever did, do you now do everything in fast forward speed for fear that if you don't life will explode in your face?

Oh yes, we owned it as kids. Sis and I would pretend to be cops trying to defuse a bomb before it goes off. We were not very good and usually got blown up😄

Ah I remember that game! I did play it maybe once or twice? I guess the whole "popping" concept made me not play it that often, though.

It could give you a certain level of anxiety lol!

Heh, indeed!

I don't think I ever played this game but the game in the pic you linked to does seem vaguely familiar.

It somehow reminds me of the game 'Operation' which I did play. I don't think I played many board games growing up though.

I NEVER PLAYED IT...BUT WE HAD ONE WHE ALI WAS YOUNG...CRACKED ME UP WATCHING THE TENSION ON HER FACE AND THE OVER THE TOP REACTIONS WHEN IT WENT BOOM.

No. I know which game you're talking about, but my family didn't have that. We did have several fun board games we played, including "Sorry!" "Mousetrap," "Monopoly" (both the classic and Star Wars Episode I-themed), Scrabble, Jumanji (thankfully it was far safer and boring than the game in the movies), and a few other games I can't remember right now.
