There is a meme out there where it says that Raccoons are trying to break into them because they think the trucks look like dumpsters. Don't really believe it's happening but I think it's hysterical.

I dont really care about "electric cars", but I do enjoy seeing the self driving car concept being pushed.
I think that with the greying population we have, that self driving cars will really benefit a lot of people as WE get too old to drive but can otherwise remain independent.
I especially want the tech pushed hard enough, that by the time I need it, I want the tech to be second or third generation. I dont want to have to deal with early adaptor issues.
I absolutely hate FSD cars and the thought of them. I will NEVER submit my safety to any self driving platform, but you make an excellent point.
It's not just the greying population - drivers today as a group are the worse they have ever been in the 50 plus years I've been driving. I can see where even a FSD operated car will be safer to other drivers (me) than if these dolts had full control of their cars.
Drinking, drugs, mental issues, ect. ect. ect.

shareThe only thing about it that interests me is that I like the idea of having a vehicle with a stainless steel body so you don’t have to take care of the paint. But I have heard that there have been rusting issues with it.

I'm a Tesla S owner, and think the CT looks like a prototype that was never finished. If I was going to buy an EV truck, it would be the Lightning.
