Do You Post Outside of General Discussion?
I rarely do.
shareI post in:
Politics
Several celebrities' boards (e.g. Donald Trump)
Several movies' boards (e.g. Terminator series)
As often as I can.
shareNot every often
shareI keep meaning to. I often (on my phone) get linked to Giallo type films, Italian stuff I'd have never heard of without this site. Amazing stuff!
This site though kinda seems to link towards modern films the deeper I go, I have to fight against modernity.
Yes, I occasionally post on the individual Film/TV title boards, which was how I used IMDb.
I didn't start posting in GD until about 2 years ago, maybe less. I don't think I ever posted in GD or the related boards on IMDb.
Glad I refreshed the page, as I was about to say this near verbatim.
i basically use the Latest Posts feed, since this place is relatively slow compared to
IMDb, and check out threads under movies I particularly like, or with subjects that might be of interest. Don't create threads that often, and it's usually just like I used IMDb: commenting/asking questions about stuff I just watched.
Have a particular fondness for specific list requests and recommending titles I think people would like that don't get mentioned that often.
My activity on MC is the opposite of IMDb. There, I never posted on general boards, only specific shows/people. I was a regular on Seinfeld and Upstairs, Downstairs. Here, it's the other way around. I do occasionally post on specific boards here, but it's relatively rare.
shareSometimes for actors or actresses I enjoy. And sometimes for movies I really liked.
It’s weird though, the dedicated movie and star boards are a haven for troll dickheads. There are a ton of troll twats on the movie star and movie boards…what a bunch
Of miserable scumbags!
It’s actually kind of funny but the nicest posters, people I respect, are on GD. They are just nicest there.
