Do you have any dietary restrictions?

I'd split dietary restrictions into several categories:

Ethical-based (e.g. animal rights or welfare, environmental concern)
Nutrition or Health-based (e.g. gluten free, low carb, no red meat)
Religious-based (e.g. kosher or halal)
Cultural-based (e.g. cultural taboos)
Other personal reasons

I'd say if I have any dietary restrictions they would be a mix of ethical, cultural, and personal (like not eating human meat for instance.)

Health based.

None.

While my sustenance is admittedly modest, I partake of neither crow nor humble pie.

Only a couple:
I won’t eat fried bugs like they do in many Asian countries and I can’t imagine eating a dog, I love dogs very much, dogs are pals.

How about allergies?

Nutrition or health based.

I do know a few people who suffer this. My wife is scarily allergic to shellfish but oddly enough is just fine with regular fish. Allergies seem to be pretty random.

reply

Health based. I can't eat onions. Cooked or raw. I just blow up like a balloon.

I don't belch nor fart when I'm in that "state". It's genuinely an uncomfortable feeling.

reply

Gee, never heard of that. I love onions, sorry you are missing out. You must have to be very careful, onion goes into a ton of recipes !

reply

If it wasn't cooked with like a lot of onions, I can just pick 'em off one by one & I'm usually OK.

But if it's like the MAIN ingredient, I'm avoiding that.

I especially hate it when it's cut into tiny pieces. Cause that shit is just impossible to pick off.

reply

I eat fish from time to time, that is the only meat I eat.

reply

No.

Glutton who will eat anything, at least once.
