If you want to argue the existence of clandestine societies in Hollywood and among powerful figures, I'll listen. Psychopathy? Sure. Pedophilia? Probably.
But seriously, satanism? With rituals often involving the consumption of childrens' blood? It's like the conspiracy theorists went for the silliest, most over-the-top caricature of evil they could think of.
I'd like to remind all the people on here that this is the thread poster who laughed about content warnings about outdated stereotypes about Italians, crying about satanism.
What does most of this have anything to do with satanism specifically?
You may not like most of those things, and think they're bad, but it's completely possible and normal for people to 'support' them (or write things with them depicted) without being satanic.
What game did you think I was trying to get you to play? The point I made is just because something is in opposition to a christian conservative ethos doesn't make it satanic.
Some Jews can be non-white, some may not be. Most in the western world are white. Much like how many hispanic people are white. Jesus is widely to have been considered ethnically a Galilean Semite, which would've included a tanned complexion. Obviously not the original blue eyes, pale, light brown hair depiction he has often been given in media.
Are you going to argue that Bernie Sanders is not white?
>I'm not arguing that Bernie Sanders is anything. Is he 100% jewish? I dont know or care.
"Born into a working-class Jewish family and raised in the Brooklyn borough of New York City, Sanders attended Brooklyn College before graduating from the University of Chicago in 1964."
>So jews are white and non white? That sounds like some leftist double speak.
I occasionally go to a church that is primarily spanish speaking and all of them are hispanic, not one of them is white. They have dark skin, coal black hair and very specific facial features. I've never seen a white hispanic. If there were any white hispanics I'd bet they have one white parent. I mainly go to a church on the other side of town that has hispanics, whites, asians, blacks and samoans.
Which makes me laugh when I hear someone from the left use the phrase "white church" or "white Christian" I dont know what that even means. What is a white church or a white Christian? and no I am not claiming you used that term, it just reminded me how stupid those people sound.
I'm very familiar with her tactics. I was told the sniveler is a transgender, so please respect her pronouns dude. I'm not sure how accurate this info is, but just to be safe and to avoid hurting his feelings let's just call him a woman.
Because these particular conspiracy theories ultimately stem from right-wing, often (but not always) fundamentalist Christian Americans who often have theocratic impulses, are often heavy on Biblical literalism and actually believe that a literal Satan exists.
Essentially, many of these people believe that atheism, secularism, liberalism, socialism and Satanism are all effectively the same thing or that the first four are driven by the latter.
It's a belief system, basically. A brand of Christian thought that thrives in the USA because of its history and its version of religious freedom with no established church.
As church attendances continue to fall in the USA and religiosity dwindles to something approaching European levels, these particular strands of thought will disappear back to the fringes. But for now they're having a bit of a moment in the sun.
jeeze, i hope so. but then i recall the anecdote about ben gurion taking his kid/s to see the orthodox jews because he thought that in a few generations, they would be nothing but a memory.
I don't understand why people bang on about Satanism at all, honestly. It never actually existed in any meaningful sense until the 1960s, and even then, it's really just a mix of half-baked Nietzscheanism and teenage take-that-mom-and-dad edgelord attitude.
I know someone online who explained his situation. He said "Satanists" are all atheists who want protection to avoid paying taxes, and atheism isn't covered.
