Do you like cookouts / picnics / eating outside?

I don't, and I don't get why it has such widespread appeal. If you're not fighting the wind to keep your chips and napkins from blowing off your flimsy paper plate, you're probably fighting flies and other insects to keep them away from the food.

And the food is typically nothing to write home about. If it's a picnic then it's probably just sandwiches, chips, and other cold food, and if it's a cookout, it's probably just hamburgers with malformed (too thick and too small in diameter), overcooked, unseasoned, dry patties and hot dogs. There's often some guy there who thinks he's really good at hand-forming and cooking hamburger patties on a grill, but he never actually is.
