Without major education or training, would people even be able to perform high paid jobs successfully?

And last say years if not decades in the company and survive and manage? Or... Besides the fact that some if not many jobs with high figure salaries will NOT accept anyone without the right education, most if not all such workers won't be able to?

Depending on what you understand under "high paid " but I definitely know people who managed to get a good job without having a "major education ".

Well, say, 50 thousand a year or especially 100,000 per year, dollars in America, pounds in Great Britain?

50 thousand € and more absolutely, 100,000 € per year should be more difficult but I am sure that there are enough people who have managed to do it.
