Everyone picks the original Die Hard on these kind of posts. I like Vengeance as it went back to New York. Then Willis and Jackson play well off each.

I generally go to the first one as my "go-to" first pick, but of all the sequels, Die Hard with a Vengence is my favorite because of the interplay between Willis & Jackson.
