Worst movie with highest budget

John Wick 4

Watched most of it last night. People shooting at each other from 2 feet away and nobody gets hit. Also bulletproof tuxedos. I turned it off before the showdown with Skaarsgard. Just didn't care to see it through to the end.

I do not think it's the worst movie with a big budget tough I agree with your partial review.

I think the worst is probably Avatar 2 or Quantumania.

reply

I lasted about 5 minutes with Avatar 2 and I like the first one.

Yeah, I got almost an hour in before I walked out. I caught a few scenes that people were raving about. They were okay. But seriously, the acting was SOOO bad. The writing was even dumber.

reply

I found myself not caring about what was going on.

I DON'T GET IT...I REALLY LIKED QUANTUMANIA...I HAVE SEEN IT THREE TIMES NOW...I HAVE NOT SEES AVATAR 2...I IMAGINE I WILL SOME DAY...I AM IN NO HURRY THOUGH.

reply

I watched the first two and it they were fun caper flicks focused on a team. Quantumania was missing a lot of the charm and humor we got in the first two. It attempted humor but it was not nearly as good.

reply

I GUESS I AM JUST A SUCKER FOR MARVEL...I WATCHED THE MARVELS THE OTHER DAY....I HAD A LOT OF FUN WITH IT....NOT MY FAVORITE MCU FLICK...BUT VERY ENTERTAINING.

reply

I think people are wiped out from Thanos being done. Marvel should have built anticipation and desire by taking a break before starting the next big thing.

reply

THEY ARE MAKING THE MARVEL MOVIES FOR AUTISTIC PEOPLE LIKE MYELF AT THIS POINT I GUESS...IN TRUE SPECTRUM FASHION...THEY COULD BE RELEASING GUARDIANS VOL 9 AND THOR:TWELVE AND I WOULD STILL BE ALL IN.

reply

Any of the Star Wars Disney Films.

reply

Rise of Skywalker must have been really expensive. I read that they reshot a majority of the movie.

reply

i rewatched ep7 couple nights ago , voluntarily!

reply

EP 7 IS A SOLID MOVIE.

reply

Glad you liked it, I personally never want to see those movies again.

reply

the last duel

reply

reply

HOW I NOW READ YOUR MESSAGES.

reply

Hehe!
Fun fact: When I play Call of Duty I tell people I’m a Mexican-Russian and they always buy it. They’d be like: « Mexican-Rissian!? Never heard that cross before, really interesting! »

Then I make up stories around that.

reply

Also bulletproof tuxedos.

The tuxedo is irrelevant. John Wick is almost immortal.

reply

Did you watch the ending? I didn't but it doesn't bode well for him.

reply

I always watch until the end of every movie.

reply

YEAH...WE KNOW...YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO MISS THE CUMSHOTS.

reply

In terms of something I've actually seen - it would be......

"Justice League" 300 million dollar budget

reply

EXCELLENT CHOICE...THAT MIGHT BE MY ASNWER AS WELL.

reply

Lone Ranger. Jack Sparrow playing Tonto just didn't work.

reply

I THOUGHT THE LEAD PAIRS CASTING WAS THE ONLY THING ABOUT THE FILM THAT WORKED.

reply

Battleship (2012) - They waster 200 million on this shite. It felt like a wannabe Michael Bay movie. Say what you will about Bay, but his films are at least (mostly) entertaining to watch.

Jungle Cruise (2021) - How did this movie cost 200 mil? Genuinely baffles me.

Lightyear (2022) - They spent 200m on a "toy story movie" and made it super depressing. They apparently forgot to add any kinda fun into the movie.

The Mummy (2017) - Tom Cruise basically "hijacked" this movie & tried to turn into a new vehicle/franchise for himself. Kinda glad it bombed

reply

I LOW KEY LOVE BATTLESHIP...MOSTLY THANKS TO THE MUSEUM BATTLESHIP MANNED BY CRUSTY OLD BADASSES...THE OTHER THREE ARE FAIRLY BAFFLING.

reply

I really wanted to like it. I like dumb fun. And big blockbusters of that kind.

Hence why I'm a Michael Bay fan. But Battleship just didn't do it for me. The characters were so meh & the action was mostly forgettable.

reply

The old guys were the best characters.

reply

THEY AIN'T GONNA SINK THIS BATTLESHIP...NO WAY.

reply

The best laugh in film was them. The alien design was good too. It's just kind of forgettable.

reply

THE LEGLESS DUDE FUCKING THAT ALIEN UP WAS ALSO QUITE NICE.

THE CHICKEN BURRITO STUFF.

UH OH...I RAN OUT OF MEMORIES.

YOU'RE RIGHT.
