Wow, that's a movie with a bit of a trail to say the least. I'll have to look into it.

Hhmmm. Well, does it have to be a 2023 film? If so, I cant name one.

This past year I saw three movies (none are 2023 releases) I thought were good:

"Burn"

"Rust Creek"

"The Whale"

I'd probably take "Rust Creek" out of those three. Tense thriller. Good performances - really good film.

Year of Release 2023:

There was a lot of rubbish last year, however I think Nicholas Cage's Dream Scenario was really good. Enjoyed that a lot.


Overall in the last year:
Probably Empire of the Sun (1987)

Oppenheimer. I think it's the only movie I watched in a theater for all of 2023. I thought it was good enough to recommend but not good enough that I want to re-watch.
