Where did everyone go from the "Star Wars" forums at www.TheForce.Net?
I remember in high school and college during the Prequel Trilogy days there would be hundreds of posts there an hour, maybe more. Especially when there were "spy reports" about upcoming movie episodes and the like. And the "bashers" vs "gushers" debates were always fun.
The forums are like a ghost town now.

shareProbably to the same place that ruined so many other traditional forums: Reddit, which sucks. But TFN sucked too, since most of them loved the continual changes that George Lucas kept making to the original trilogy. I much preferred the original trilogy forum; their entire purpose was to preserve the theatrical cuts. I haven't been there in many years though (and I don't even know if it still exists), since I eventually got theatrical cuts that I was happy with and don't even care if they ever officially release them or not, since they wouldn't be as good as what I already have.

When Lucas was in charge, there was excitement for an upcoming film or game because they were rare. Disney releases steady content now, therefore the anticipation no longer exists and releases feel routine.
They probly left , leaving a small hardcore to bitch about how "them wimmin" ruined it and its just not the same as when they first saw it when they were 7yr old
I was there a couple of times. It's appealing to a point.
