For me its all about Reagan. Her demon portrayal is scary.
I DISLIKE BOTH...BUT EXORCIST IS SLIGHTLY BETTER I SUPPOSE.

The Exorcist is definitely good but slightly overrated. The first half is a bit slow and then the third act is rushed. The Shining is a masterpiece from start to finish. Such a chilling and unsettling conclusion.
