NFL trying to turn Christmas into Thanksgiving - disgraceful!

Not everyone celebrates Christmas, which usually has NBA pro basketball games on TV. But in 2023, the NFL is trying to turn Christmas into Thanksgiving, with three games. They usually only had a game if it normally would fall into their schedule on a Sunday or maybe Monday night. Greed:

1 pm - 4:30 PM Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs & Taylor Swift, kid-focused Nickelodeon with slime, and CBS

4:30 PM New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles FOX, Fox Deportes

8:15 PM Baltimore Ravens at San Francisco 49ers ABC, ESPN+, ESPN Deportes

The NBA on ESPN:

Noon - Milwaukee Bucks at New York Knicks
2:30 PM Golden State Warriors at Denver Nuggets
5:00 PM Boston Celtics at Los Angeles Lakers
8:00 PM Philadelphia 76ers at Miami Heat
10:30 PM Dallas Mavericks at Phoenix Suns

Yes I'm not interested in watching large minority men play games on C'Mas. But they have to try and dominate everything and it really is about gambling. People are home -in bad weather in half the country- and willing to bet.

reply

🙄

reply

I don't know why sports are played during any religious holiday.

reply

me neither. these games take thousands of people to pull off, many of them traveling to do it. it's ridiculous to force that on folks and their families.

reply

Not one single person out of those thousands of people are being forced to work on holidays. They knew what they were in for when they accepted the job and they aren't doing it for free.

reply

I watched the Chiefs lose today and it's just not going to be their year.

reply

They may lead the NFL in dropped passes.

8:15 PM Baltimore Ravens at San Francisco 49ers may be the Super Bowl preview.

reply

They done cursed themselves with that Taytay witch black magic.

reply

I think the Chiefs need to think about drafting and developing a TE to replace Kelce before he retires. He might have a year or two left if he doesn't retire sooner.

reply

blame it on taylor

reply

There has never been a more worthless NFL Commissioner and someone who is more overpaid than Roger Goodell. As much of a juggernaut as the NFL is, I think they really put out a crappy product anymore.

reply

I like it. As an NFL fan, it’s nice to have some games on in the background during the Christmas festivities.

reply

i rushed home to see the late game

reply

I hosted the party this year so didn't have that issue. Good game so far.

reply

Glad the games were on. I'm running on holiday movie overload right now.

reply

I'd rather stare at a turned-off TV for 4 hours than watch an NFL game on Christmas or any other day.
