Any "Greatest TV Shows of All Time" list that includes even one soap opera is automatically absurd. Soap operas are the Fingerhut catalog chandeliers of TV shows.

And how would they even know how good General Hospital is overall? There are over 15,000 episodes; the vast majority of which are not available on home video or streaming sites. Even if you did magically have them all at your fingertips to "binge watch," it would take years to watch them all, even if it's the only thing you did for 16 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Also, it doesn't make sense to include drastically different genres in the same list. There are no meaningful points of comparison among e.g., Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Columbo, Saturday Night Live, Jeopardy, Seinfeld, General Hospital, and Survivor.

I agree with the complaints. Also, to include "Law & Order:SVU" while ignoring the original "Law. & Order" is downright criminal. The original was the "game changer," not "SVU."

Just a weird list. I absolutely love Ken Burns' "The Civil War" and enjoyed seeing it included (I'd be tempted to put that at #1)...but how do you compare that to "Seinfeld," for example? What a hodgepodge of shows!

Also, why not include sports shows like "ABC's Monday Night Football?" Talk about iconic...all it takes for me is to hear that great intro to "Heavy Action" and I'm ready to tackle someone! 😃

A lot of flaws with this list for sure!

No Manimal? No Thundercats? I'm out!

It's always sunny in Philadelphia should definitely be there, but i wouldn't expect it to be with their terrible list. Peep show should be on it, if they did do foreign shows, Gomorrah and Narcos should have been on it.
