Have you had a white Christmas month yet?
Here in Toronto, the best way to describe it would be...

We haven't really had snow here either. We had a little in October that didn't stick around, and had I think one snow fall this month, but my grass is brown, not white.
shareI'm surprised. Usually Alberta get insane amounts early.
shareNot in years. Have had much milder winters up here than when I was a kid. I mean my mom used to make our halloween costumes to fit over our snow suits. We haven't had snow at Halloween (at least snow that requires winter gear) in a good many years.
shareDiCaprio was right when he shot the Revenant and said it was hard for them to find snow. They shot the film in Alberta.
shareWell, too be fair....provinces in Canada are pretty big, and Alberta has very different weather patterns. I wouldn't say Leo was correct at that time though. They were filming around the Calgary area during a chinook. They happen all the time, and I guess when you aren't used to them it could seem concerning.
shareIt just snowed today.
shareFirst of the month?
shareWe got more snow overnight last night, but it was only enough to cover the roads and the little snow we already have. It'll all be gone in a day or two, with temps heading to the 40s℉. We've actually had several snowfalls, but the biggest total was about 1.6 inches. Definitely having a brown Christmas this year. The forecasts do not expect any more snow for the rest of this year, and long-range it will probably be mid-January at least, before we get snow again.
shareThat cover reminds me a joke.
What did the one sagging breast say to the other sagging breast?
If we don't get some support soon, people will think we're nuts.
we had some snow. not much but some.
