Have you had a white Christmas month yet?
Here in Toronto, the best way to describe it would be...

No, unless you count the miniscule amount we had about a week ago, which was gone after a couple of days. Temperatures are currently at least ten degrees above normal with no precipitation in the forecast this week. Christmas isn't looking good at this point, which is a shame.
And there are still those who think global warming is a "hoax."
What is Christmas like in Toronto? Is it snowy, or has climate change ruined things there, too?
We only had one very light snowfall that melted within hours a few weeks ago. When I was a kid in the80s and 90s, December would snow frequently. Since about 2010 it's not uncommon to go almost completely snowless until January.
shareWhite Christmas used to be the norm here when I was younger, but these days it's kind of a coin flip whether they'll be snow on the ground. It'll snow, warm up for a while, the snow will disappear. Repeat.
shareI wrote this because I heard we're getting a big snowfall tomorrow. I can't wait. If it stays until Christmas, it'll be the first white Christmas in 3 years.
shareLOL!
That’s not a White Christmas😁!
But no, we’ve only had a sprinkling of snow so far and none of it stuck around for long.
It’s been unseasonably warm here in lower New York and I’m not complaining.
I dislike the cold and snow, El Niño is my homeboy👍
It's been cold here, but there's none of that winter crispiness on the grass and on the air.
sharea mild winter so far.
