Most of the ones I can't stand have already been mentioned, especially 'Do They Know It's Christmas' and 'Wonderful Christmastime.' I feel a sense of repulsion when I hear those two songs.
I'll also add:
Bon Jovi's "Please Come Home for Christmas"
John Cougar Mellencamp's "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus"
I actually don't mind the Mariah Carey xmas songs that much, they're just mildly annoying.
The thing I don't quite understand is "Wonderful Christmastime" shows up on both "best" and "worst" lists.

shareI can't stand that one, either. It has nothing to do with the holiday; it's merely about an unsuccessful attempted relationship. Take out the world "Christmas" and replace it with any other holiday and it doesn't change the song one bit. The addition of sleigh bells doesn't make it a Christmas song, either.
I wish this would be permanently removed from airplay. And that includes the countless cover versions by Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and others. I can't understand why there are so many covers of such a lame song.

Another vote for Paul McCartney's "Wonderful Christmastime" (and I'm a big fan of The Beatles/McCartney as a musician...but I think it's awful).
