When porn is legal?!? Like what the fuck, you just add a camera and more victims to the act of prostitution and that makes it okay?!? Convincing a girl to fuck for money is so wrong our society must ban it but convincing a girl to fuck for money alongside lifelong video evidence to shame her and her future family for years to come is fine?!? How?!? Then we are gonna take this video of prostitution and make it easy for all curious kids to search it up online and ruin there ideas of sex. It always baffles my mind because prostitution seems so much more natural and less damaging to society then prostitution with a camera involved....

Becuase courts ruled that porn was a form of speech. I don't buy it because porn, by definition, has no expressive value & only exists to titilate.

I've heard apologists make the case that titillation/expression is too fine a needle to thread. But we do it all the time with content involving children.

This thread probably belongs in politics.

Up here in Canada it's only a matter of time before the mafia, I mean the government, gets in on that action.

They already have their fingers in gambling, cigarettes, marijuana and alcohol.

A lot more people would do it. But also, there's a safety factor to it. The w̶h̶o̶r̶e̶s̶, prostitutes would be in a situation alone with pervy m̶a̶n̶ w̶h̶o̶r̶e̶s̶ dudes. Also we'd want to avoid as few diseases from getting around and we can't force the w̶h̶o̶r̶e̶s̶ prostitutes to wear protection.
