💥 Crux of the helix

I had a minor crash on my way to an appointment this morning. I was rear-ended by a driver who obviously wasn't watching where they were going. I was waiting to merge on to the highway, looking over my shoulder at oncoming traffic and 💥. Thankfully, my Saturn must be a tank because the only damage was a small kink near my back bumper. Dang, it was loud, though.

The only injury I have is a bruise on the crux of the helix on my left ear from my head hitting the headrest.

I just have to say that it's a strange injury to have, but I'm thankful that's all it was.

You really should get an official NASCAR driver helmet if you're going to be doing stunts. 😂

Accidents are always scary, even minor ones. I'm happy you and your little tank are ok!

Did you ever make it out to see your grandkids a little while back? You had been delayed by bad weather and were re-scheduling if I remember right.

Thanks for asking. They invaded me last week. 🤭 We took the kids to the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley. The kids had a good time, and so did I. I love watching them interact with each other. Some of them saw an alligator catch and eat a fish in one of the aquariums. I missed it, and I'm okay with that. We had a good time, but I was relieved when it was time for them to leave. The chaos of 10 people in my small house wears me out, so it was nice to get back to some peace and quiet. I love them all and they're great kids, but they can be exhausting.
