Home Alone was a very fun movie.

Do you guys agree? I especially liked the traps Kevin set out for the robbers.

reply

It was very pleasant. Even the second one too.

reply

It was!

I think it has become a Christmas classic (and sequel as well). Maybe my favorite scene is fairly early on, scaring the hell out of the pizza delivery guy.

Did you ever see the alternate ending to 2?

reply

Never have. I should rewatch both Home Alone 1 and 2 again....

My favorite part of Home Alone 2 is the pigeon lady, played by Piers Morgan.

I loved the first two Home Alone movies, the first Home Alone movie was the very first movie I saw in the theaters, I was madly obsessed with that movie for the next two years.

Home Alone is right up there on my Christmas watchlist.
A Charlie Brown Christmas (watched this with my grandchildren just this past Friday)
It's a Wonderful Life
Home Alone
White Christmas
The Santa Clause
A Season for Miracles
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

A Season For Miracles is one of the highest rated Hallmark movies on IMDb.

I loved it as a kid but I enjoy it differently as an adult.

I liked that part, but also the scene when Kevin puts the tarantula on Marv's chest. That scream of his...😱
🤣

It's a fun movie, but the traps are my least favourite part. A bit too much childish schadenfreude. The earlier part of the movie is much stronger.

reply

Agreed. There's plenty to like about this movie. Great sound track. I like the old neighbor, too. It's very rewatchable.
