Just sounds a bit mediocre and boring to my ears, to be honest though I've always felt that way about the majority of Beatles songs, can't see what the fuss is about honestly.

I like Paul McCartney though.

Either I'm disappointed that he produced something like it, or I'm upset that they butchered what he wanted.

Jeff Lynne started work on it at the same time as Free As A Bird and Real Love, but the project was aborted when George Harrison (who was a mate of Lynne’s) said that the song was, “a load of crap!”

I'm a massive Beatles fan, but I'd give it a 6/10, I guess. Just not one of their better songs.

Real Love is my favorite of the songs they finished after Lennon died. Regina Spektor did a really nice cover of it. The Beatles version was hindered by having to work with an old demo.

I think YouTube still has the piano demo of Real Love by John Lennon on it and I think it's much better than the Beatles version. Look it up when you get a chance.
