shareI like it through Christmas but January and February are bleak months no matter where you live. By the time we get to March 1st i'm counting down the days to Spring.

shareI agree. Our winters are dreary and grey. If we had more snow I would be happier, but we don't. Once the holidays are over, I'm ready for spring.
shareYes. Winter includes Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. And New Year's Day, which, sadly, is the end of the holiday season.

But winter is an abomination. It does not belong in a civilized society.
It would be nice if Christmas were still a twelve-day celebration rather than just a single day.
shareWe can take it on ourselves to make it so. When I was in Retail, I had a lot of last-minute Holiday shoppers who were crestfallen to find their purchase was not in immediate stock. I’d remind them, “Well, there ARE 12 days to Christmas!”
shareLOL - once I became a teenager the best Christmas gifts were money. I would go shopping for clothes after Christmas when everything was marked down.

shareIn Southern California yes I love it. It's just chilly enough to wear a comfy sweater and enjoy the weather with no AC or heater running.
In most of the rest of the country...meh, it's fine.
