shareNo, but it is a whole genre on YouTube

Nope. There's no reason to have one as I only drive twice a week.
shareI don't have dash cam but I'm tempted to get one, I work in The Bronx and that area is loaded with third world dipshits with no insurance, no licenses, no immigration status and NO REGARD for decency, these sorts like to smoke weed while driving, play with their phones behind the wheel and drive on our AMERICAN streets!
There are a lot of decent people in The City but about twenty percent of them should be shot out of a gigantic circus cannon back to whatever shitshow dogpatch island they all they came here on a raft from.
Fuck them, they don't belong here.
I have multiple cameras on my property, a fairly sizable arsenal of shotguns and rifles, a very large cache of ammunition and a neurotic little dog that barks whenever the wind blows. I love my tiny doggie and she knows it but she's angry and possibly insane. The little fucker bites me once a week at least. She's crazy but never misses movement on the property.
Try out the Ring camera system, it records to your phone and alerts you when someone is on your land via text message. We currently have a bunch but I'm a maniac about property security so I've talked my wife into buying a couple more cameras.
Can't be too careful.
Yes - it comes as standard on my car.
I also have security cameras at Kings Towers.
Have had at least one since discovering their existence maybe a little under ten years ago when footage of a meteorite falling in Russia captured on dashcams was all over the news, which were common over there at the time. Would never drive a car without one now. They're only ~$35 and could save your ass if involved in a collision that wasn't your fault.
Check local laws if your model records audio. You might need to post a little sign on the dash warning passengers conversations are being recorded.
I do. It cost like 60 bucks on Amazon. Also you need a memory card or it won't record.
Signed, million man.
I wanted to buy one, but i have a shitty car which has no dashboard.
shareI was looking into it last year. Most of them have poor quality video but there were newer ones with a new imaging chip from Sony that had better quality video. I would have to look it up again.
Edit: If you want to reliably capture readable license plates the image sensor you want is the Sony Starvis 2.
