Would pretty woman work with a male hooker?

Rich middle aged white woman meets attractive 21 year ago old male hooker and convinces him to stop providing sexual services to men and instead be her date for the next few days.

Guy "Girl you sure you know what I do?

Instead of teaching him to be "a gentleman", it's also teaching him to be more masculine, and less gay.

(Picture reworked shopping spree where he ditches the short-shorts and see-through tshirt for a nice suit).

Of course her douchebag business partner (a gay man) has to assault him and say he will hire him (curiously again played by Jason Alexander), but in the end, true love wins out, with former rent boy bagging himself a rich cougar.

The main man would have to be gay for the story to work. Few women seek out male hookers. And attractive women definitely do not. It would have to be an older successful gay man after a gay male prostitute.

reply

That sounds like a fetish movie, one you'd own.

reply

No, it would be very mainstream and boring, sorta like Brokeback Mountain.

reply

Rich "Richard Gere" type like in the original dont seek out hookers either , at least not street types like julia robwerts was.

It s plausible then that
Rich women might do, to avoid gold diggers , in which case they may / may not be attractive ,

I'm not so sure about that. Remember that Hugh Grant was arrested for having sex with a street hooker in his car.

And Eddie Murphy took it even further. He got caught with a trannie prostitute in his car. Lol.

Rich attractive men look for no hassle quickies as well.

haha
true

Any reasonably attractive woman is unlikely going to need to pay for an escort.

reply

Well yes, you could write an amusing script around that premise, but it'd never get funding. Hollywood thinks that older-woman-younger-man pairings are uncommerical. A couple of older woman/younger man romances have been made, but mostly the older woman is cast as Ms. Wrong.

And as far as non-sexual relationships... I'm genuinely curious. Can anyone name a movie where a young man is mentored by an older woman, in a close but non-sexual relationship?

reply

Unlikely to be funded now. But, they were popular at one time especially with Joan Collins who made a few sultry TV movies with that theme. She had younger boyfriends in her soap opera roles too like Dex Dexter in Dynasty and a German soap she guest-starred on.

There was a theatrical movie called "40 Carats" which was pretty good.

"Earthly Possessions" about a young bank robber who kidnaps an older minister's wife.

And Thelma and Louise with one of them carrying on a hot affair with a young Brad Pitt.

The only male hooker movie with a woman I can remember is "American Gigolo" with Richard Gere which was popular when it came out. That one I missed.

reply

Rob Schneider made a movie about an unattractive male gigolo, I forget what it was called. But he never actually got it on with any of his clients, he was just nice to them and they were so thrilled that they paid up happily. Not a good movie.

"Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" (and sequel.) I vaguely remember the commercial, but I didn't see it. It looked bad, but I'm not a Rob Schneider fan.

I can't believe that I forgot "Unfaithful". Very, very popular which helped French actor Olivier Martinez's American career. Female work colleagues were swooning over him.

"How Stella Got Her Groove Back" was a huge hit, too.

And duh, "No Hard Feelings"! I just saw the DVD last week. I can't believe I forgot about it. Very funny.

"Dirty Dancing" in which older women paid the younger men including Johnny.

There must be one older woman in those Magic Mike movies.

reply

I've done this a couple of times.

Slept with a male hooker?

reply

Everything in OP's post.

No.

🤔

reply

People quite reasonably associate hookers, sex workers, adult films stars, etc. w/ disease.

reply

YOU HAVE A REALLY WEIRD OBSESSION WITH GAY GUYS.

This fall, in theaters near you, Timothée Chalamet and Dame Judi Dench* in... Good Looking Man.

I'd like to know how you'd work the obligatory feature (for nostalgic purposes) of *the dress* in this film.

But hey, if they managed to make Good Luck to You, Leo Grande, I'm sure a Pretty Woman gender swap cound have a chance.

*I know she's 88.
