Did you like high school

First two years were miserable, 3rd year was ok, my last year was a fucking blast.

I went thru several high schools because I was in a military family, constantly moving. I remember running into a classmate in the Orient that I had in a previous military school, just 6 months prior in Europe. I was a good student, A&B average, but the constant disruption along with the typical teenage angst and raging hormones eventually took their toll. I became less focused on academics. I came home from the beach in Hawaii one summer day where I spent a lot of my time to be greeted by the news that one of my best friends back on the mainland had drowned in a lake where we used to hang out. The irony and heartbreak of that incident were life changing for me at the time.

I suppose that lifestyle taught me flexibility, adaptability, gave me exposure and experiences to different cultures, which I'm grateful for. I guess what I'm saying is, that in the long run, the pros outweigh the cons.

No. It was a living Hell filled with the worst kind of kids my own age.
