I was very into them when I was younger. It's been over 20 years since I've owned one.
They look great but aren't the best in bad weather, and the leather smell gets annoying after a while.
Yah, I have a brown leather jacket. I don't wear it in hot or inclement weather, but I wear it fairly often.
shareWhy don't you wear it in inclement weather? Isn't it waterproof?
shareA few raindrops won't matter, but leather is porous and not the best thing to wear in wet weather. I have other jackets/coats for inclement/cold weather. Some leather items such as boots may be specially treated by the manufacturer to make them waterproof.
shareI own a suede jacket. It doesn't fit my style, but I can't get rid of it because it's so damn cool.

Can't remember how I got it, believe it or not, and it looks better on me now than it would have when I was younger.
