Should offices have a dress code?

Should men wear a tie? Women a skirt? Rules about shoes like no sneakers?

Or is a free for all better?

reply

My time in office was casual(polo shirt and jeans). I think business casual would be the best way to go as I'd get annoyed wearing a suit and tie everyday.

reply

It depends on the job.

reply

Exactly. But I think any company has the right to tell their employees what is and isn't acceptable.

reply

No.
Humans should wear coverings but not terribly specific just to do a job.
OBVIOUSLY, dress within reason and not look like an asshat or a ho.... dressing sexy is done for a specific response and not good for the sterile work place.

reply

WOMEN A SKIRT?....WAS THAT THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS QUESTION?

DRESS CODE DEPENDS ON WHAT THE OFFICE DOES...BUT PANTS ARE AN OPTION FOR EVERYONE.
