Any of your family or friends commit suicide
My grandmother's brother and my Auntie. RIP.
shareNo.
shareOne of my cousins. He actually just wanted to be a pothead without growing it himself. But because of its illegality, he came in contact with shady people who wanted him to try harder and more physically addictive drugs because of a higher profit. Got addicted to heroin even though it was never visible. In 2006 he was very tired of always chasing the next score and ended it.
shareLong time friend of the family was a cop and he just pulled over the side of the road one day and blew his head off. Had a wife and kids and the whole thing. Totally messed up.
shareIt's funny that they say it's a "cowardly" act to commit suicide. I think the exact opposite - you surely have to be incredibly brave to go through with such a definite action.
I try not to judge such people. I think if you have an absolute belief in no afterlife and simply cannot stand the system we're all born into, regardless of country of birth, then who's to say what's right and wrong.
I believe in assisted suicide for the terminally if that is their choice. I think that is incredibly brave regardless of a persons religious beliefs.
shareYea Shotgun to the head
Signed, million man.
A family friend recently. He was a surprise. He was an energetic guy, didn't show any signs of being down. He did tend to drink a lot. He was drinking alone when he did it.
shareNo but I saw my sister throw herself down a staircase. This was shortly after I'd almost died from my own attempt.
shareA friend from the army.
