Global Cooling/Global Warming/Climate Change --> The scam is that if rich, industrialized nations keep giving their govts. money, they can "stop" the planet's natural forces and ecosystems from being destroyed (never mind what kind of pollution 3rd world nations are doing) and that the world will get back to whatever definition of "normal" the world govts. say is normal.
