singers who were terrible

Michael Bolton. Oh, I hated him. He made a career out of being a karaoke singer who could sing R and B. He comes from that class of singer who got seen as "brilliant" because they were whitebread and sang "black music", when there were other white singers who were 10X more talented but no one cared about because they ironically had soul and therefore sounded too black for white audiences (Lisa Manfield, Rick Astley, Simply Red, Taylor Dayne).

Other karaoke/mediocre singers like that to me are Adele and UB40.
