What is your favorite local fast food place??

Duchess is a local "fast-food" chain found only in Connecticut. Why this place isn't nationwide and in every city in every state is beyond me. This place has almost anything you could want as far as Americanized food goes. They have over 100 menu items to choose from. It truly puts the big chain restaurants to shame. McDonald's for me. I live about a 5-minute drive from the nearest one and it's a great place for my boys and I to eat.

Nationwide: Wendy's

Regional: White Castle

After all these years, we have still yet to get a White Castle in Connecticut. It's criminal.

I don't have a favorite, but then, I very rarely eat fast food - never when I'm at home. The only time I do is when I'm on a lengthy road trip. I usually end up at McDonalds because you can be pretty sure of what you're going to get. Very occasionally, I'll grab an Arby's, though. As for something local, my understanding is that locals swear by a place called Val's, but I've never tried them. I may have to try them someday.
